Do you know the apple fritters? It's a great dessert after a light lunch. It's really easy to make and you can make under 10 minutes.We really like it with simply confectioners sugar and with cinnamon, but sometimes I serve it with some caramel sauce. I didn't try with vanilla ice cream, but it would be a really nice combination with the hot apple fritters.We made also a short video, I hope you'll like it! ♥
3 big apple (kb. 600 g)
250 g flour
2 dl milk
pinch of salt
vegetable oil for frying
confectioners sugar and cinnamon for dusting
Wash the apples (don't need to peel) and grate them. In a bowl, combine the flour, milk, eggs and salt. Whisk until there is no lumps. We'll get a thick pancake butter. If you find the batter too thick,you can add a little more milk, if it's too runny, just add some more flour, It's just a simple pancake batter, no worries, you can't do it wrong.Finally fold in apples. Put some oil in a skillet Drop batter by rounded tablespoons into oil. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
